1. Ponies are to be weighed in full and 10% is taken off their weight. Winners
weigh in immediately after pull and if more than 15 pounds per team has been
gained, they are disqualified.
2. No alcohol inside pulling arena.
3. Must pull 6 ft in one pull.
4. Decisions regarding arguing will be at the discretion of the officers and
committeemen.
5. Can only pull pony in one class and classes are rotated light up or heavy down.
6. Cruelty to animals will not be tolerated and ponies must be under control at all
times.
7. All participants must be members and membership dues are $10/year.
8. Cannot hold double tree up. If double tree hits ground during pull, pull is over
and you get those inches
9. All teams must be calcuttaed, if you don’t buy them for $5, the club will.
10. Men working scales weigh in no earlier that 15 minutes before weigh-in time and
no one can weigh their own ponies in. Only officers and committeemen can
weigh in ponies...
11. Height limit for ponies, no more than 54 inches, allowing 1 inch for shoes.
12. Money will be paid back at the discretion of the officers and committeemen. 15%
Calcutta belongs to club.
13. Rules may be changed at preannounced meetings.
14. Unlimited help to get ponies to sled, only 3 men inside ropes, and only these 3
men can call on ponies. When pull begins, men are to be behind double tree or
headman out in front away from ponies. Interference to keep ponies off ropes
will not be allowed. Bit man must turn ponies lose.
15. Slide moves from flag to flag. Committeemen may decide prior to pulling to spot
slide. One pull after slide is spotted. You cannot unhook during a pull except for
a breakdown. Cannot straighten slide unless you rope. If driver calls on ponies
after a rope is called, he is disqualified for the day.
16. Jumping double tree and drop hooking are allowed. 17. Ropes are set @ 9 ft for lightweight, 10 ft. for middleweight and 11 ft for
heavyweight. 9 1/2 and 10 1/2 for 2 classes
18. Can unhook to fix breakdown, rope overrules breakdown.
19. You are allowed to level dirt in front of the tongue for the first pull only.
20. Measuring tape will not be on rod.
21. May change driver at any time.
22. Entry fee is $21and must be paid at scales.
23. Weigh in and pull time will be decided by the secretary.
24. High Point System: first place -6, second place – 5, third place -4, fourth place –
3, fifth place – 2, and participation – 1.Accumulation ends the pull before
championship, if tied, it will be broken by team that has pulled the most times
during the season. Points begin at Tator Day. High Points is based on the TEAM
for the year(2 ponies and person the ponies are weighed in under must remain
constant).

26. The only voting members at the annual business meeting are those that have
pulled at least 50% of pulls that season.
